Horse Chestnut:  Provides astringent and anti-inflammatory benefits for products treating reddened, irritated, or sensitive skin.  In Germany, extract from the seed has been approved to treat poor circulation to the legs, leg cramps, swelling, and non specific leg heaviness.  Traditionally used for its ability to reduce varicose veins and treat hemorrhoids.

Green Tea Extract:  The active agents in Green Tea have been demonstrated to suppress inflammation and irritation, and more recently have been shown to reduce the appearance of cellulite.  Green Tea plays a vital role in protecting the cell from free radical damage initiated by environmental factors.  Powerful antioxidants help to prevent or delay skin aging.

Centella Asiatica:  Applied to the skin, it acts as an anti-inflammatory agent.  Studies in the Department of Dermatology in Strasbourg indicate it is a strong anti-inflammatory agent, effective in the treatment of wounds, ulcers, and lymphatic edema.  Centella Asiatica assists in reducing inflammation and sensitivity of the skin.  It also tightens the skin and increases the elasticity.
