I use an "Open Date Sheet" and on the sheet I write down all the dates I would like to do a party on.

This helps my guests pick a date instead of trying to decide one on their own. I write the day, date, and time that I want to book a party. 

I offer, "If you book your party tonight while I am here, your guests at your party will pay $25 per wrap ($5 off!) and all you need is 5 friends who come and wrap to get your wrap for FREE!"

This has helped me pick up one or two extra parties throughout the month.

Inspiring It Works Story

My ItWorks Storyby April Haldy on Tuesday, April 3, 2012 at 4:28pm ·I'm feeling like its time for me to write my story, possibly theirs someone who is needing to read it, i'm not sure i just have an overwhelming feeling its time to write it.

Lets start back in 2010, we were drowning in debt, so bad that when we made credit card payments we had to factor that in to buy groceries. It was a vicious circle that we couldn't get out of. We made the decision that bankruptcy was our only way to free ourselves. We knew the what it all entitled and how it would kill our future, but we figured us being young still it was the best time, and to learn from it and never drown in debt again. Our bankruptcy was discharged in January 2011.

Fast forward to April 2011, I was pushing my photography studio harder than ever. Realizing slowly that the money just wasn't coming in from it like it should, that people were wanting everything for free. But it was the only source of income i was making (dameron was still working, but i needed to be busy too) one day i randomly checked the newsfeed from my photography page, which is something i NEVER do. I came across a picture of a belly side by sided and it looked so different. It caught my eye and i started digging around. After hours of online research dameron got home & i was ecstatic to show him my new find, i showed him lots of results pictures, videos, etc. He kept telling me it was a scam, people were photoshopping things or altering them somehow. I told him it was worth a shot to at least try one and if it really worked their was serious money to be made....mind you i have owned a business at this point for 8 years and understand business concepts & where money is to be made. I spent $40 on my first wraps, when it arrived i couldn't wait, Dameron was still so skeptical. I told him we had to take pictures so prove to other people that it worked. He said yea but we need to take pictures of the tape measure, the numbers to see if they actually move or not. And that's what we did. First wrap placed on my back and lost 3 inches..... IT WORKED!!!!! And our skeptic selves were turned believers. I talked to Dameron and told him i HAD to sign on board, that there was so much money that could be made with this, he looked at me concerned and said, " you have the photography studio, are you sure you can handle both?" I told him yes that ItWorks would be my plan B i'll do it on the side and see what happens, his reply, "OK babe, i trust you & if you can handle it then i support you" BAM April 29th 2011 i signed on.

Now the gal i signed up under, never spoke to me again after i signed on, i floated around determined that their was money to be made. Ironically at the same time i found out the Kami Dempsey hit her first month making over $100,000!!! WOW i thought to myself, i've never heard of people making that much. This kept me focused, inspired and motivated. I found Kami on facebook and wanted to just watch her, read her updates, soak up anything i could since obviously whatever she was doing was working.Following Kami also opened my eyes spiritually, which later down the road changed my mindset. It went from making as much money as i could, to not about me but being a LIGHT to change others lives. I emerged myself into the back office, watched videos after videos, read as much as i could, put on a wrap party for my friends and family not knowing what the heck i was doing, all i knew was i HAD to share the news of this magical wrap thing. One of our first goals as a new distributor is to get 4 loyal customers in your first 30 days to get $120 in free product, i worked my HINEY off trying to find them, and i DID i was sooo excited. I then found out that my monthly autoship was set up incorrectly, me & my business minded self had 2 autoships set up, one towards the beginning of the month, one at the end to make sure i didn't run out of product, and i MISSED my free product! WOW first huge disappointment, sure i could of gave up, hey i even considered it, but Kami came back into my mind, and i couldn't stop. Luckily another one of my uplines Shelby found my floating around. Now at first i pushed her away. I've worked for other business, i thought this girl wants to steal my customers, help me? yea right. Slowly but surely Shelby was persistent with me, supported me, and was my life saver!

Over the months i had many ups and even more downs. I've had disappointments after disappointments. I've been in touch with many of my uplines, and just recently realized that i was a horrible leader when i started. I was under the impression everyone was like me, business minded, kept themselves encouraged & motivated, that they all knew what the end prize was. So i left them alone to work their business. Luckily one frustrating night another amazing upline Stacy Stevens mentored me, changed my thinking, and opened my eyes.

In January 2012 i felt my business had been lost, that the dreaded December downfall in sales killed everyones motivation. I had approximately 40 distributors under me yet my sales we barely $4,000. I was so close to giving up! Then we headed to conference. WOW!!!! Life changing for sure!!! We talked to people who were just like us, i finally got to meet Shelby, Stacy, & even Kami. Then we made new friends Tony & Sam who inspired Dameron to a whole new level. The excitement, love, encouragement, etc. that we felt at conference was like no other. The CEO of the company was humble, these millionaires are REAL PEOPLE, who came from a place just like me, some quit HIGH paying corporate jobs to do this, some were stay at home moms, some were salon owners, some came from other MLM businesses. But it boiled down to them being a REAL person, who was determined to change their life, and all those they come in contact with. Surely if THEY can do it....why can't i?

We left Florida on FIRE! Blitzing everywhere we go, we were determined to rebuild our team, and do it the RIGHT way.In February i signed 17 distributors and 22 were added to my team! My sales were just over $4,000 in January, and in February we over doubled it, and in march over doubled that. Yes i still have my moments of frustration, my moments i need to be inspired again...i'm human too :) I was a Ruby rank for 6 months, i called this my Ruby Rut! FINALLY the end of March i ranked up to emerald!!! Finally the light is getting brighter, finally i can see us making large amounts per month.

While on vacation this past weekend, i asked Dameron... One year ago could you of even IMAGINED making $20,000 per month? His reply to me, "NO not even dreamed of it." I replied,"can you imagine it now?" he said, "YES & i can't wait to be their, it'll happen soon babe" LIFE CHANGING! MIND CHANGING! Its your ticket to dreams that you can't even IMAGINE coming true!

Thank you to Shelby, Stacy, Kami, Mark, Pam, Sam & Tony, & Dameron. Eventho you might not know it, you've changed our lives so tremendously in one year. Sure we're not bringing in the $20,000 a month YET...but we WILL!

And a little over a year after bankruptcy we are in a financial place to buy another car, not live paycheck to paycheck, to be able to have fun, provide for our daughters, & its not even the tip of the iceberg yet. My plan B (itworks) turned into our plan A, we also made the choice back in November to close the studio down, because itworks has taken off so much!!!

Simplicity of the Wrap Party

SIMPLICITY OF THE WRAP PARTY

1. Wear your It Works Shirt. Look amazing and keep it simple.

Listen to upbeat music on your way to the party. Get your energy up and know that this is going to be a party to remember. Focus on the guests that are there not on the ones that didn’t show. If there are only 2 people, then there are only 2 people. Focus on them and success will be yours.

2. Have all your party supplies neat and ready to go.

3. Arrive at least 30 minutes early and get set up.

4. Guests sign in using a sign in sheet on a clip board.

5. Have before and after pictures along with all the different ways you can wrap flyer. 

6. Guests choose applicators(s).

7. Money in Jar (must collect money up front…it is too confusing to collect at the end and you must place it in the jar to show and tell “the money”).

8. Get wrapped (do not discuss the applicator or other products while wrapping your guests. Time is of the essence. Inform your guests that all their questions will be answered once everyone is wrapped).

9. Give them a bottle of water (no other refreshments are required).

10.Clip Board with the following items attached:

a. Customer Order form highlight bottom section, the

Greens, Vital, The Skinny Pack and your “favorite product” on the form). 

b. It Works Product Flyer and Package Flyer

c. Plain Envelope for your Thank You Note. (Ask guest to put their name and address on it. This will be used for a drawing and for you to send out Thank You notes.)

Note: Catalog is only given to those who purchase at the end of the night.

11.Welcome and brief intro (tell your story…keep it to 2 minutes)

12. Showcase only 5 products:

a. Ultimate Body Applicator

b. Defining Gel

c. Fat Fighter

d. Greens

e. Vital

Note: a, b & c are in the Skinny Pack.

13. Product Overview…Show & Tell keeps it fun and interesting.

Keep this to 20 minutes.

a. Ask them how they feel with the Applicator on. Get them involved. Showcase all the ways that you can place it on the body along with showing them several before & after pictures. This builds belief.

b. Defining Gel…pass it around and have them place a dime size on their hands

c. Fat Fighter demo

i. 2 Fat Fighters crushed in a baggie (do this ahead of time)

ii. Wine glass with water

iii. Pour approximately 1 Tablespoon of Vegetable Oil over water (do this in front of them)

iv. Empty the Fat Fighters into the glass

d. Vital (place a Vital in water at the beginning of your talk so they can see how quickly it dissolves but don’t talk about until after Fat Fighter Demo).

e. Sample the Greens either by just tasting the powder or you can place it in juice and give them a 3 ounce cup size

f. Read several paragraphs from Dr. Don’s letter that came in your Distributor kit on Vital and Greens

g. Say “Oprah has her Favorite Products and I have mine” Show your favorite product Exp: Lip & Eye Cream – pass it around and let them put it on their upper lip and around one eye to see the difference. You can share different favorite products at different parties.

14.Verbiage to close:

“We just learned about our top selling 5 products along with my favorite product. Three of them can be purchased in our Skinny Pack for $109

“You can purchase Retail however It Works offers a Loyal Customer Program that saves you time and money… anywhere from 20 to 40% off of Retail. There is a $50 membership fee for this program, however if you agree to purchase a minimum of 1 item once a month for a period of 3 months, the $50 membership fee is waived. It Works! Also offers Perk Points. For every dollar that you spend 10% will be added up and offered to you at the end of 4 months towards free products. 6 months of consecutive autoship and ItWorks! will give you an extra $50 in perk points! 15. Free Drawing of a Facial…before unwrapping the guests draw for a Free Single Facial Applicator. Have the hostess draw from the Thank You Note Envelops. Once the name is drawn, hand the winner the facial and explain what the facial does if no one has applied one for the night. This gives you an opportunity to talk about this product in a fun way.

16. It is time for Results.

a. Unwrap each guest in the order that you wrapped them

b. As each guest comes out into the room, announce her results while ringing a bell or other noise maker to cause a surge of energy. If the guest bloats, celebrate the bloat and explain that the toxins that were released while wrapping have not had time to be eliminated and that her results should be amazing by tomorrow. Most of our “bloaters” get the best results. Make sure you get back with this person the next day to measure them again.

c. Start taking orders. It is always good to have 2 or more DTs at a party with you and leave the strongest one out in the room to help with orders. You can take all your new DTs with you to watch and learn but also having them wrap the guests. This also shows the guests that you don’t party alone which is different than all the other companies out there. Everyone wants to be a part of a team.

d. Give each new LC a catalog to take home so they can look for future products.

e. If anyone shows interest in the business, make an appointment to see them within the next 48 to 72 hours to discuss the opportunity.

There comes a time in everyone’s life when you just know something big is about to happen. It is a feeling, a hunch, or what I always like to think of as “a knowing”. You just can’t put that feeling into words, but you know you need to act on it. When I first heard about the Ultimate Body Applicator™, I felt that I was really onto something that could be huge. It was just a hunch, but I went for it. Our company is still virtually unheard of, but our time is now and that means it is time for you to go to work.

This business model is called Network Marketing and what that means is you build a network of people marketing products to the people that they know, and, over time, your business will far exceed your expectations, but it begins with you. You have to start this, and my suggestion is that you go for it now and don’t wait another minute. Timing is of the essence. It is important to understand the momentum we are experiencing in this very important time in our company history. You can’t buy momentum but you can capitalize on it. So, what does that mean? It simply means that more people will come into your business quicker than ever before because, without knowing why, they too just get a feeling that they don’t want to miss something big.

So what should you be doing every day? What I love about what we do is that we keep the main thing the main thing, and the main thing is that we wrap people. That’s it; that’s what you should be doing. You simply offer to let them try the wrap for “X” amount of dollars to see what they think. Then the wrap does the rest of the work. We make way too much of what we are supposed to do, and what we are supposed to do is simply wrap people. Once the product is applied, just wait 45 minutes, and during that time, offer to show them the catalog, the Success from Home magazine, or simply talk to them about their life, and just allow the applicator to do the magic. After the 45 minutes, you get the results and ask them if they would like to continue to try the products as a customer or would they like to look at the business as an opportunity. Whatever they decide is fine because the main thing is to just get the wrap on people and let them decide. I love this. It is so simple that we miss it. All that you’re supposed to do to be successful is wrap people. That is it! So what are you waiting for? Go wrap somebody!

Promotions and Beginning of Month info

I wanted to share some info about levels and how you requalify/ maintain the levels. 


On the first of every month, your volume resets to 0. As you sign loyal customers, add orders, and your distributors and loyal customer autoships go out, your volume will begin to increase. If you signed 3 loyals the last week of the month, those autoships will not run again until the last week of the month. 


PBV stands for Personal Bonus Volume. It is the total of your personal orders (including your autoship) and any loyals DIRECTLY underneath you. (This will not include any loyals you have "given away" to other distributors on your team). 


POV stands for Personal Orders Volume. This is your personal orders and autoship volume. 


GV stands for Group Volume. It includes ALL VOLUME in your entire downline. So if you have four distributors, and they all have four loyals, and you have four loyals under you, your group volume would include all of the orders and autoships from everyone under you.  


Everyone starts as a distributor. A distributor is paid 10% on the PBV of Distributors directly beneath them and 10% on any loyals orders directly beneath them. If you are the direct enroller (meaning you signed them up) of that distributor, you can add 5% for an enroller bonus. 


An Executive is someone with 2 distributors under them that each have a 400GV by the last day of the month. 


A Ruby is someone with 3 distributors directly under them and one of those three distributors is an Executive. So one executive and two other top line distributors who are each at 400GV by the last day of the month. 


Anyone who hits the Executive and Ruby level must requalify for that level every month. As you add loyals and your distributors add loyals and other distributors, the group volume will increase so that this is not a difficult task. 



Emerald and Diamond Maintenance:
An Emerald is someone with 4 Distributors directly on the top line, and two of those distributors are a Ruby (or have a Ruby somewhere underneath them). The other two must have a 400GV by the end of the month.


A Diamond is someone with at least 5 distributors on their top line, one of which is a RUBY and one is an EMERALD. The other 3 have to be at a minimum 400GV by the end of the month. 


* Note that the Emerald and Ruby have to come from a separate "leg." So if you sign up your best friend Sally and she is an Emerald and she has another DT under her who is a Ruby, you can only count her as an Emerald. Your Ruby has to come from another distributor you signed up in a different leg. 



Once you hit Emerald or above, you can requalify based on your entire group volume (GV). Here is how you do it. 
An Emerald has to have a minimum GV of $8,000 with no more than 50% of that volume coming from one leg. In other words, one leg can have $3,999 and all of the other legs combined have to be at $4,001. 


For Diamond, $10,000 in GV with no more than 50% of that volume coming from one leg. So $4,999 can come from one leg and the other $5,001 has to come from other legs or you will not requalify for diamond. 


For Double, $25,000 in GV with no more than 50% of that volume coming from one leg. So $12,499 can come from one leg and the other $12,501 has to come from your other legs. 




The compensation plan is one of the most difficult things to learn. Keep reading and reading and reading again until you get the basics down. You do not have to learn the entire plan to sell wraps! Keep signing loyals, signing distributors and making sure they have autoship and loyals under them and you will promote, I promise!

Facebook has been a great resource to get plugged in and find ideas, pictures, etc... Like our Skinny Wrap Lubbock page, the It Works! corporate fan page, and request to join the Lubbock Skinny Wrap Distributors group forum. 
Start your training! There are several places for you to get training materials. Start with your back office (e-suite) and watch the videos. Then  go through the documents and read/print out some materials there.

Choose the Business Builder kit for $99 
Add any additional items to your order
Agree to the policies and procedures
Choose the e-suite and enter the Distributors requested website and click save (All DT's need a website! It is part of running your business). 
Choose autoship items. Autoship items are not sent out until the following month. You must have an 80BV autoship set up. Click save. 
Fill in all contact information, billing/shipping, and credit card information. Bill and ship must match on the first order. If they do not, you must call the company or submit a ticket. It will hold the order until you contact the company.

The next page will have your name on it, choose continue with sponsor

Directions for applying the applicator

Thank you for purchasing the Ultimate Body Applicator. Here are directions for applying:

1. Take a before picture and measure yourself in three places. Above navel, navel, right below navel.
2. Open package and fully unfold applicator. Apply the lotion side to clean skin. After a shower is best. Smooth the applicator against the skin.
3. Secure the applicator in place with a fitted tank, saran wrap, spanx, maternity band, or ace bandage. It will wrinkle a bit, that is normal.
4. Leave on for a minimum of 45 minutes up to 8 hours.
5. After you apply the wrap, drink water! As much as you can! Toxins are being pulled from fat cells and you need water to flush them from your body.
6. Rub excess lotion into your skin. Remeasure and measure again after 24 hours and 72 hours.
